Slim fit shirt with our signature pocket shape and western-style yokes. The Jonas Dry Rustic Selvage is made from lovely Italian selvage denim with a vintage look. The warp yarns have been dyed into a deep indigo tone while the weft yarns have been dyed into a warm beige color – a combination that gives the denim a lovely rustic look. Both the warp and weft yarns have been ring-spun with just a slight variation of thickness that gives the denim a well-crafted vintage look. The shirt itself is made with felled twin needle seams at the body and arms. Front and back yokes have pointy shapes drawing inspiration from classic western shirts. All of these construction details will become more pronounced with wear and generate beautiful contrasts at seams and folds. Selvage details can be found at cuffs, pockets, hang band, and at the front placket. The shirt is surprisingly comfortable from the get-go considering the weight of the denim, but it packs enough starch to crease up and generate sharp wear-marks with use. If you are familiar with our shirt fit Jonis, then Jonas is best explained as its twin – looking very similar but with slightly different characteristics. Compared to Jonis, Jonas has more room for movement as well as new shoulder and armhole construction. Making Jonas more comfortable while still being slim. An improved Nudie classic piece with tons of break-in potential! As with all our dry denim we recommend at least 6 months of daily wear before the first wash to achieve contrasting fades. This is of course just a recommendation.
